Got a Good Body?
If you take yourself seriously as a writer, then it’s all about your body… of work, that is.
That’s right. Developing as a writer is as simple as writing frequently and consistently. A writer who sits down every day and puts thoughts to paper finds his ‘writing muscles’ get stronger with each effort. At the end of the day – or the week – or the year, you find that you have created a body of work that builds confidence, informs your ongoing efforts, and offers you a copious supply of material from which to draw. In short, you build your body of work in the same way you build your own body: one step at a time, over the long run.
